We Made It! A Handmade Christmas.

We love you all!  What a fantastic Christmas season we had this year.  From a crazy Black Friday Flurry to the last minute Christmas sales, it was a bit of a blur.  There were early mornings and late night, but we did come through the other side alive.   

What was extra exciting was the number of customers that came back for their second or third case and many for gifts for their friends.   It is still a dream to realize that so many people are supporting small handmade businesses in such a big way.  Etsy sales overall this Christmas were incredible, not just for us but for so many shops.  It warms the heart to see such an appreciation for handmade.    We enjoyed giving Etsy gift certificates, and I enjoyed a vintage egg beater from etsy from my daughter.  

Now it is back to the business of the business.  We are enjoying a little time to create a few new styles and trying to unearth the fabrics we have picked up along the last month or two and not had time to think about using.      One of our best seller fabrics is the blue chevron, and we decided to bring it out in the envelope style.  Turned out cuter than we imagined.  We also used it in the basic twill pocket sleeve as the pocket fabric.  All too cute!

We are also looking forward to a chance to create a few new purses and even work on some tennis totes.   The latest tote that I made for my daughter and her upcoming USTA Tennis matches was just up her alley with a mix of animal prints and a pop of color.   She decided that she would be willing to be my guinea pig and suffer through the trying out of a new bag.  Funny how that works with her :)    We will be offering these up in custom orders.  If you need to put one together, feel free to email us at KeetaCollection@aol.com   and we can mix up a fabric selection especially for you.  I suppose that this has been enough reflection and its time to move on and get to work.    Looking forward to another great year with our wonderful customers.
